what you need
- 2 lb. meatloaf mix, (beef, pork, and veal)
- 1 1/2 cups Italian bread crumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. Lawry's garlic salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, diced
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- A little splash of water
make it
In a large bow, mix all prepared ingredients with clean hands. Add a little splash of water as you go, it will help to keep it together.
Roll a walnut size ball in the palm of your hands, rolling till it all comes together. (If you like you meatballs larger, you can add more meat to your preference). Place on a baking sheet.
Place in preheated 350 degrees F oven for about 20 min according to size. Don't overcook -- it will make them too dry. Add to your favorite sauce. They will cook more in the sauce pot.
Notes
This recipe can be used for meatloaf too. Just add chopped green pepper to the meat mixture and pour a can of tomato soup over the top. Works great.
