what you need
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup spaghetti sauce
  • 6 oz. (1 1/2 cups) shredded mozzarella or Monterey jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup dairy sour cream
  • 1 can (8 oz.) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons margarine or butter, melted

Preheat oven to 375°F. In large skillet brown beef and onion until beef is thoroughly cooked, drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce, heat thoroughly. In medium bowl stir mozzarella and sour cream.

Pour hot mixture into ungreased 12x8 (2 qt) baking dish. Spoon cheese mixture over meat. Unroll dough over cheese. In small bowl combine parmesan cheese and butter, spread evenly over dough.

Bake for 18-25 minutes or until deep golden brown.
Notes
If using pie pan separate dough into 8 triangles. Arrange points towards center over cheese mixture crimping outside edges if necessary.
