what you need
- 1 package Italian sausages (pork or turkey)
- 29 oz. (2 regular sized cans) diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 2/3 cup heavy cream
- 1 box rigatoni noodles
make it
Take sausage out of the casing and brown. Add tomatoes and Italian seasoning and simmer for up to 2 hours.
Add heavy cream just before serving.
Serve over cooked rigatoni noodles.
Notes
You could also put the sausage and tomatoes in a slow cooker and simmer it for as long as you like. I do this often!
