Kidney Bean and Veggie Salad

what you need
  • 2 cups CREAMETTE Kid's Club Wagon Wheel Macaroni
  • 2 cups KROGER BRAND Frozen Mediterranean Blend Vegetables
  • 1 can (15oz) EDEN FOODS organic Kidney Beans
  • 1/3 cup KRAFT Light Thousand Island Dressing
  • Black Pepper to Taste
make it
1. Cook pasta and vegetables till al dente, about 10-12 minutes. Drain water.

2. Drain kidney beans and rinse with water.

3. Toss all ingredients together in a bowl.

4. Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
Notes
I put this recipe together for my husband as I was looking through my cabinet for something healthy to make as a side dish. I have so many cans of kidney beans that I never know what to do with, and this recipe is perfect to use them in.

Packed with protein and low in fat this recipe is great for anyone watching their waistline.
