Kristin's Pork And Gravy

Makes: 6+ servings Total Time: 5 hr 10 min

what you need
  • 2 lb.+ large pork roast (or beef)
  • 2 brown gravy packets (at least 1 oz. each)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup water
  • Italian seasoning for taste
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic salt
  • Pepper for taste
  • Portobello mushrooms if desired
  • Minute Rice at least 1/2 cup per person
make it
Meat can be frozen or thawed; if meat is thawed cut cooking time in 1/2. Combine gravy, milk, water and seasonings together in a bowl mix well.

Add 1/2 of mixture into crock-pot, add meat
Pour rest of mixture on top of meat.

Cook on low for 4 1/2 hour or until meat falls apart.
Notes
Add mushrooms before starting rice if you want them a little firm, otherwise toss em in with the meat at the begining. Make Minute Rice 10 minutes before serving. Serve meat and gravy over rice.

This is delicious and makes a great warm meal for those cozy cold nights throw it in and go! with 4 kids thats what we have to do!
