what you need
- 1 jar thick 'n chunky salsa
- 1 jar picante sauce
- 1 package precooked baby shrimp
- 1 package imitation crab meat
- Green onions, chopped
- Cilantro
make it
In a large bowl combine thick 'n chunky salsa with picante sauce.
Add the shrimp, crab meat, chopped green onions (the amount depends on how much salsa you're making since there are small and large jars), and the cilantro.
Stir everything together and serve with tortilla chips!
Notes
This is a great party salsa because it's quick and easy, and makes a lot of salsa! It's very refreshing with the bits of seafood in it without being overwhelmingly seafoody. And if your family is like mine, it will be gone in no time! I got this recipe from a grocery store that used to sell small jars of it and have made it at parties ever since!
You can use mild, medium, hot, or a combination of both (like a mild salsa and medium picante) depending on how mild or hot you like it!
