Loaded Potato Fries

what you need
  • 2 large baking potatoes
  • Margarine
  • Salt & pepper
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Bacon pieces
  • Sour cream and/or ranch dressing
make it
Wash and peel potatoes. Cut each into approximately 12 slices.

Arrange potatoes in single layer on foil lined baking sheet. Spread margarine on each slice and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake 30 minutes at 375°F.

Then top each slice with desired amount of cheese and bacon pieces. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with sour cream and or ranch dipping sauces.
Can be made into –

Southwestern: chile oil and red pepper flakes before baking, topped with Mexican blend cheese and cooked fajita style chicken or steak, served with guacamole or salsa.

Italian: olive oil and oregano before baking, topped with Italian blend cheese and cooked Italian sausage, served with marinara sauce.

Mediterranean: olive oil and rosemary before baking, topped with goat cheese and diced black olives, served with hummus.
