what you need
- 1 large can crushed tomatoes
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1 head of garlic, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 3 whole jalapenos
- Chopped cilantro
- 4 Tbsp. garlic powder
- Seasonings to your taste
make it
Combine all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil. Let it simmer for half an hour.
Serve with tortilla chips or on any Mexican dish.
Notes
*The jalapenos make the salsa VERY spicy. If you want to cool it down a little, use bell pepper and some crushed red pepper flakes.*
