what you need
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 3 cans (15 ounce each) whole tomatoes
- 1 medium onion
- 3 cans (16 ounce each) chili beans
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1-2 tsp. salt
make it
Brown and drain beef. Cut hard end off tomatoes and remove any skin that may be on them. Peel and chop onion. Add all ingredients to beef in pot, heat through.
Notes
If you're like me, and you don't like big chunks of tomato and onion you can just combine the tomato and onion in an blender and puree until it's all smooth. Then just add to the pot!
