what you need
- 1 medium onion
- 1 clove garlic, or equivalent garlic powder
- 1 lb. salad shrimp
- 1 cup butter or margarine, divided
- 1 lb. lump crabmeat
- 3 cups water
- 2 boxes of Kraft Stove Top Stuffing (Sourdough flavor)

Chop onion, garlic, and shrimp (keep shrimp separate from garlic and onion).
Put 1/2 cup butter in skillet or large saucepan. Add onion and garlic. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, about 7 minutes.
Add shrimp and crabmeat. Cook, stirring occasionally, an additional 3 minutes. Add water and 1/2 cup butter. Bring to boil.
Add 2 boxes Stove Top and mix well. Let stand according to directions then fluff with fork.
Notes
Can be served as a simple side dish, or, if desired, one of the following ideas.
*Prepare your favorite fish for baking (Great on salmon). Prepare stuffing as directed, adding an additional 1/4 cup butter and 1/4 cup water, then place fish in large roasting pan, or casserole dish. Pour stuffing over fish and fill pan, smooth with back of spoon. Bake uncovered for amt of time specified per fish type. (usually 30-45 minutes)
*Use it to stuff your mushrooms, crabs, or any other stuffed dish.
*Be creative!
This is a great addition to an any family meal, dinner party, or any get together really when you need to feed a lot of mouths, and impress them! Recipe can easily be cut in half for smaller quantity.
