- 1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1-1/2 teaspoon maple flavoring
- 2 eggs
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- Confectioners' sugar, optional
make it
1. In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, butter and maple flavoring. Beat in the eggs, one at time. Combine flour and baking powder; add to egg mixture. Sir in walnuts.
2. Pour into a greased 9-in. square baking pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until a toothpick come out clean. Cool dust with confectioners' sugar if desired.
Notes
Once you have tired the brownies, you will be in chocolate haven.
