what you need
  • 1 pound ground beef or ground chuck
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1- 2 cups sliced jalapeno peppers
  • 1 cup diced green and/or red peppers (optional)
  • 1 cup diced onion (optional)
  • 1 box Kraft Deluxe Mac and Cheese
  • 1 and 1/2 cups diced tomato
  • 1 container (16 oz.) sour cream
  • 2 cups of shredded Mexican or taco cheese
make it
Cook ground beef until done. Mix with taco seasoning as directed. Set aside. Slice and dice jalapenos, green/red peppers, and onions. Set aside. Prepare Kraft Mac and Cheese according to directions. Set aside.

In a medium sized mixing bowl, mix sour cream and Mexican or cheddar cheese until creamy. Mix cooked ground beef with prepared Kraft Mac and Cheese. Add sour cream and cheese mixture. Stir in peppers, tomatoes and onions.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes or until hot. Serve.
You can use low fat or light sour cream to make the dish more diet friendly. Also, this dish is served best with a BBQ meal, hamburgers or even grilled chicken. It can also be used rolled in a tortilla for a roll up!
