Makes: 15 servings, 3 x 2-1/2" squares Total Time: 24 hr
Category: Desserts Sub Category: Pies

what you need
  • 1-1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 pkg. Philadelphia Cream Cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. whole milk
  • 1 tub (12 oz.) Cool Whip, divided
  • 2 pkgs. (4-serving size) Jell-O Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding (or favorite flavor)
  • 3 cups cold whole milk
make it
Using a spoon, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and melted butter in medium size bowl until well mixed. Press firmly into bottom of 13 x 9" pan with hands. Chill 15 minutes.

Beat Philadelphia Cream Cheese with 1/4 cup sugar and 2 Tbsp. whole milk until smooth, using an electric mixer on medium low. Fold in half the tub of Cool Whip. Spread gently over crumb crust. Clean mixer bowl and beater. Rinse in cold water for next step. Dry completely.

Prepare Jell-O Pudding as directed on packages, using 3 cups cold whole milk. Pour over Philadelphia Cream Cheese layer. Cover with plastic wrap and chill overnight.

Spread remaining Cool Whip over pudding layer. Garnish with grated chocolate or chopped nuts, if desired.
Notes
After the pudding layer is applied, the pie can be chilled for 30 minutes or until pudding sets rather than overnight. This should not affect the flavor.

Mom's Striped Delight lasts for about 5 days, but leftovers (if there are any!) MUST be refrigerated. There might be a slight separation but this doesn't affect the flavor.
