My Mom's Cabbage Soup

what you need
  • 10 cups water
  • 6 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 onion
  • 6 Tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 6 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 can whole tomatoes
make it
Bring water to a boil and add bouillon cubes. Cut cabbage into edible slices along with the sliced onion and add to soup base.

Then add brown sugar, lemon juice, pepper and canned tomatoes. Bring to a full boil, cover and simmer until cabbage is tender and taste is to your liking.
Notes
Just butter your bread and enjoy this heirloom.
