Nana's Pecan Pie

what you need
  • 1 cup chopped Bama Pecans
  • 2 heaping Tablespoons Pillsbury flour
  • 1/4 cup Crisco Shortening
  • 1 cup Imperial Sugar
  • 2 Kroger Eggs
  • 1 cup white Karo syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon Adams Pure Vanilla
  • 2 - 9" un-baked Frozen Ritz Pie Shells
make it
Combine all ingredients together into a medium sauce pan, medium heat. Heat just enough to melt all ingredients.

Then pour into your un-baked pie shells.

Bake at 425* for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 325* for 40 minutes. Each oven temperature varies. Place on cooling rack for 30 minutes.
Notes
When your removing the baked pie's from the oven to cool, they appear to be soft set. They firm up during cooling.
