Orange Pineapple Chicken

what you need
  • 1 whole chicken
  • 3 cups orange-pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons dried onion*
  • 1 teaspoon parsley flakes*
  • Dash of sage
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • * Fresh ingredients may be used
make it
Place chicken in big pot. Add juice, onion, parsley, sage, salt, butter, and brown sugar.

Cover and cook 1 hour on medium to high heat. Flip and baste chicken. Let cook another 1 1/2 hours or until meat starts to fall off bones.

Let stand 2-3 minutes, cut, and serve.
Tastes great with rice, pasta, or potatoes. Sauce makes an excellent gravy.
