Peanut Butter Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

what you need
  • 2 1/2 cups quick oatmeal
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 stick margarine or butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2/3 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
make it
Set oatmeal aside in bowl. In a saucepan boil: sugar, margarine (or butter), milk and cocoa for 2 1/2 minutes.

Take off stove. Add peanut butter and vanilla to sugar mixture. Mix until peanut butter until it dissolves. Add dry oatmeal, stirring until completely coated.

Drop from spoon onto wax paper. Let set until the cookies are firm.
How many the recipe makes depends on how big (or small) you make the spoonfuls.
