Peanut Butter Sheet Cake

what you need
  • 1 cup oleo/butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • Frosting
  • 1/2 cup oleo/butter
  • 1/2-3/4 cup peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk/milk
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
make it
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bring oleo/butter, water, and peanut butter to a boil. Combine remaining dry ingredients, and then add wet mixture along with buttermilk, vanilla, and eggs to it. Mix all ingredients well.

Pour onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes.

Meanwhile make icing: Bring oleo/butter, peanut butter, and milk to a boil, and then remove off stove. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Spread icing over hot cake.
Notes
Easy to make, keeps well, and is very moist.
