what you need
- 1 cup margarine, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 6 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
make it
Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream margarine, sugar, and eggs. Add remaining ingredients.
Pour batter into prepared 9 x 13 pan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting as brownies are gooey in middle.
Notes
Knife inserted into middle will NOT come out clean. These brownies remain soft in the middle.
