what you need
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • ****Perfect Chocolate Chocolate Frosting****
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 2/3 cup cocoa (unsweetened)
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup milk
make it
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease & flour 2 round baking pans. Combine dry ingridents in large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil & vanilla, beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour into prepared pans.

Bake 30-35 minutes. Cool & the frost.

****Perfect Chocolate Chocolate Frosting****
Melt butter, stir in cocoa. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk, beating on medium speed (add more milk if needed), until spreading consistency.
