Pina Colada Super Smoothie

Makes: 3-4 glasses Total Time: 30 min

what you need
  • 1/2 cup plain *organic whole milk yogurt
  • 1-2 Tbsp. virgin coconut oil
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup *organic milk or half-and-half
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 5 frozen strawberries (or other frozen berries)
  • Sweetener to taste
make it
Combine all ingredients except frozen fruit in a strong blender or smoothie-making machine.

Add half the fruit. Starting on low speed, blend ingredients, working towards high speed.

Add remaining fruit bit by bit. Blend until smooth. Add additional milk if needed to keep mixture turning. Add sweetener to taste.
Notes
1-2 Tbsp. "ground" flaxseed may be added if desired but grind to powder.

Additional milk was added to suit our tastes.

*Organic is best but not necessary.
