Pineapple - Pecan Cream Cheese Ball

Makes: 2-1/2 cups or med-large cheese ball Total Time: 2 hr 30 min

what you need
  • 2 packages (8 oz.) Philadelphia Cream Cheese
  • 1 large can (15 oz.) crushed pineapple
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1-1/2 cups chopped red onion
  • 2 cups pecans, finely chopped, reserve 1 cup
  • dash of pepper
  • 2 tsp. seasoning salt
  • Serve with Ritz and Triscuit Crackers
make it
Soften cream cheese. Mix all ingredients together, reserving 1 cup of finely chopped pecans.

Chill.

Form into a ball and roll in reserved nuts.
Notes
I like to make this a day ahead to let the flavors blend together. It's always a hit at parties and a most requested recipe!
