what you need
- 1 package crescent rolls
- 1 pound ground meat or maple ground sausage
- 1 can (12 oz.) garlic tomato sauce
- 1 can (8 oz.) French style green beans or carrots
- 12 oz. shredded Kraft Mozzarella Cheese
make it
Preheat oven 350°F. Unroll crescent rolls, and line the bottom of an ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Stretch dough to fill pan. Pierce dough with fork, and bake for 8 min. Cool.
Meanwhile, brown ground meat in large skillet. Drain fat, add sauce and beans. Mix and pour over crescent roll crust. Top with cheese.
Bake until heated through, and cheese is bubbly.
Notes
This is one of those "everything but the kitchen sink" recipes. This can be altered, from using ground turkey, or substituting the green beans for carrots, or zucchini. This works well for kids who are not veggie fans.
I call this the Po' Mans Lasagna, since it has most of the elements… minus the pasta noodles.
