Polish Sausage Soup

what you need
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 2 lb. Polish sausage or kielbasa sausage, cut in to bite size pieces
  • 4-5 carrots, chopped
  • 1 head cabbage, cut in to bite size pieces
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 4-5 cups milk
  • 1-2 lb. Velveeta Cheese, shredded or cubed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
make it
In a large soup pan, on low to medium heat, melt butter in soup pan. Then add Polish sausage. Heat sausage till warmed.

Add carrots and cook until almost tender. Then add cabbage and onion and cook until all veggies are tender.

Mix celery soup with milk and pour over veggie mixture. Add cheese, salt and pepper, then simmer till warm. You may need to add more milk, enough to cover all the veggies.
Notes
Do not boil. Boiling will cause your milk to scald or curdle. You can also use celery. Add celery when you add the cabbage.
