Makes: 6 servings, approx. 1-1/2 Total Time: 45 min
Category: Dinner Entrees Sub Category: Pasta Entrees

what you need
  • 1 lb. ground round
  • 1/2 box angel hair pasta
  • 1 to 1-1/2 jars meat flavored spaghetti sauce
  • 1 package Kraft Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (approx. 2 cups)
make it
In large pot boil water for pasta. While waiting for water to boil brown hamburger meat. Add pasta to water and boil according to instructions. Drain any grease from meat and add sauce. Simmer while pasta is cooking. When pasta is done, drain but don't rinse.

In a square baking dish (8x8) place a layer of pasta, sauce, and thick layer of cheese. Then another layer of pasta, sauce and remaining cheese, should be a thick layer even with top of dish.

Bake a 350°F for about 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and a little golden. Cut into squares to serve.
All measurements, except meat, are approximate. I usually estimate and sometimes end up with extra sauce and pasta, which is great for leftovers.

I prefer ground round because there is less grease, and don't rinse the pasta because it gets watery after baking.

Mushrooms or olives can also be added when making the sauce. Every time I make this its a huge hit, and its also great as leftovers.
