what you need
  • Crust
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 packets raisin instant oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup crushed walnuts or pecans
  • 1 stick softened butter/margarine
  • Filling
  • 1 tub (8 ounce) Kraft Cool Whip
  • 1 cup Breakstone sour cream
  • 1 pkg. (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • Topping
  • 2 cans cherry pie filling

Mix all crust ingredients together. Press into bottom of 9 X 13-inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Let cool.

Mix all filling ingredients together in very large bowl. Cream cheese will be a little lumpy. After crust cools completely, pour filling over the top.

Carefully arrange cherry pie filling on the top. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
Notes
Can use any pie filling fruit. Cherry seems to be the favorite.
