Salmon Macaroni Casserole

what you need
  • 2 cups cooked broccoli florets
  • 1 1/3 cups cooked macaroni
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheese, divided
  • 1 cup (14 oz.) boneless salmon
make it
Make sure the broccoli and noodles are cooked before anything else. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cook and drain macaroni as directed on package.

While the macaroni is cooking, melt margarine in 1 1/2 quart sauce pan over low heat. Stir in flour and pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth and bubbly; remove from heat. Stir in milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in 1 cup of cheese until melted. Mix macaroni, broccoli, salmon and sauce in ungreased 2 quart casserole.

Cover and bake 25 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese. Bake uncovered about 5 minutes or until heated through.
