Makes: 1 serving Total Time: 1 hr 30 min
Category: Dinner Entrees Sub Category: Fish & Seafood Entrees

what you need
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. fresh grated ginger
  • 1 pound salmon
make it
In a small bowl mix the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, pepper and ginger.

Place the salmon in a shallow glass baking dish. Pour the sauce over the salmon and place in the refrigerator to marinate for 1 hour.

Place baking dish with fish, uncovered, in a preheated 400 degrees F oven to bake for 20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Spoon the sauce over the fish when serving.
Goes great with steamed jasmine or basmati rice and sauteed veggies.

I usually make double the sauce too.
