Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms

what you need
  • 40 mushrooms, stems removed
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 10 oz. bulk Italian sausage (spicy)
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped green onions
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley
  • 1 pkg. Philadelphia Cream Cheese
make it
Clean mushrooms/remove stems and drain. Place mushrooms in shallow baking dish. Brush with melted butter.

Brown sausage, onions and garlic in skillet. Drain. Return to stove. Mix in pepper, parsley and cream cheese. Heat to blend all ingredients and melt cheese.

Stuff mushrooms with filling.

Bake about 25 minutes at 325 degrees F.
These can be prepared a day ahead and baked just before serving.
