Seven-Fruit Salad

what you need
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 medium nectarines or peaches, thinly sliced
  • 2 large firm bananas, thinly sliced
  • 1 pt. blueberries
  • 1 pt. fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups watermelon, cubed or balls
  • 1 cup green grapes
  • 1 kiwi fruit, peeled and chopped
make it
In a bowl, combine the lemon juice, water and sugar; stir until sugar is dissolved. Add nectarines (or peaches) and bananas; toss to coat.

In a 2 1/2 qt. glass bowl, combine the remaining fruits. Add nectarines and banana mixture; stir gently.

Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve with a slotted spoon.
