what you need
- 1 16 oz. container bocconcini, water packed (mini mozzerella balls)
- 1 container small cherry or other tomatoes
- 1 large bunch basil
- 3 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- Sea Salt
- 12 small or large wood skewers

Step 1: Drain water from bocconcini, add to large bowl.
Step 2: Wash and add cherry tomatoes to bocconcini.
Step 3: Pour olive oil over bocconcini and tomatoes; toss until lightly coated.
Step 4: Wash basil and pat dry.
Step 5: Begin threading skewers with one bocconcini, a few basil leaves (fold in half before skewering), and a cherry tomato.
Step 6: Display skewers on festive platter and sprinkle with coarse sea salt. Use any left over basil as decoration on platter.
Notes
*This recipe is great for all seasons! Use in the summer for an easy, refreshing picnic OR use during the Christmas holiday for a quick, red-white-green appetizer!
*For a quick alternative, buy marinated brocconcini and omit step 3.
