Simple Salmon Patties

what you need
  • 1 can salmon
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp. onion, finely Chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Kraft Minute Rice
make it
Pour the juice off of the salmon into a cup. Add the baking powder to it, stir, and set aside. Drain salmon in a collander. Remove the skin and bones.

In a mixing bowl, combine salmon, flour, lemon juice, and egg.

Before adding the lemon juice to the mixture, heat oil in frying pan. Once hot, drop 1 Tbsp. of mixture into the grease. Fry about a minute, then flip and flatten. Fry till brown on each side.

Serve with Kraft Minute Rice and a toss salad.
Notes
You may use a teaspoon to drop the mixture into the frying pan. This makes them smaller and crunchier.

Olive oil may be used for frying to decrease calories.
