Makes: 4 to 6 servings Total Time: 30 min
Category: Dinner Entrees Sub Category: Beef Entrees

what you need
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup catsup
make it
Brown hamburger and drain fat off.

Add onion, celery and green pepper and continue to saute for about five minutes.

Add catsup, stir and cook for about 10 more minutes.

Serve on hamburger buns, as topping for baked potato, as topping for a mild taco salad or any way you might enjoy.
I prefer a lean ground beef but other ground meats can be used. I do not at salt or pepper because I find the catsup has enough seasoning to make it taste great.

If you like it heated up, you can add whatever you wish. It is a good basic recipe that can be added to, altered in any way you desire.
