what you need
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 box Stove Top Cornbread Stuffing
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 & 1/2 eggs
- Garlic salt or powder (to taste)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/3 cup ketchup
make it
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix ground beef, cornbread stuffing mix, milk, onion and eggs in large bowl, season with garlic salt or powder to taste. Once thoroughly mixed place mixture in to a 9"x13" baking pan, spread evenly.
3. In separate bowl mix the brown sugar, dry mustard & ketchup - brush mixture over top of meat mixture.
4. Bake in oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Notes
I have only used one egg plus one half of an egg in this recipe, but you might try it with two eggs.
