Makes: 6-8 servings Total Time: 1 hr 15 min
Category: Dinner Entrees Sub Category: Beef Entrees

what you need
  • 1-1/2 pounds ground round or ground chuck
  • Sloppy Joe mix
  • 2 tubes crescent rolls
  • 1-2 cups each Kraft Shredded Cheeses (mozzarella and cheddar)
make it
Brown meat. Drain. Add your favorite sloppy Joe mix. Allow to simmer for a few minutes stirring occasionally.

While simmering press 1 roll of crescents in a 9 x 13 pan. Pour sloppy Joe mix over rolls. Top with your cheeses (according to preference). Top with remaining rolls, trying to cover the surface of the mixture.

Bake at 375 for approximately 45 minutes.
Will serve 6 large slices or 8 smaller.

This can be reduced in fat by using low fat crescent rolls and low fat cheeses. Also, if you wash the beef after it is brown in a strainer, it cuts down on the fat. Make sure the water is well drained before using in the recipe.
