Slow-Cooked Roast Beef with Country Gravy

what you need
  • 2 1/2 lb. spoon roast
  • 1 pkg. powdered country gravy mix
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium garlic clove (or 2 tsp. garlic powder)
  • Salt, pepper and oregano to taste
make it
In a small to medium sized slow cooker, add roast, powdered gravy mix and broth.

Cut onion into chunks and add to cooker along with garlic or garlic powder, salt, pepper and oregano.

Cook on low setting for 7 hours.
After removing roast for carving, stir gravy and leave in cooker to simmer until ready to serve.
