Souped Up Hash Brown Casserole

what you need
  • 2 lb. bag frozen southern style hash browns, thawed
  • 1 stick margarine or butter, melted
  • 1/8 cup dried onion flakes, crushed
  • 1 container (16 ounce) sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 to 2 1/4 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Topping:
  • 2 to 2 1/2 cups corn flakes, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. melted margarine or butter
make it
Preheat oven at 350. Mix together all the ingredients except topping.

Pour into 9x13 pan. Sprinkle on topping.

Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until potatoes are done. Enjoy!
Notes
The southern style hash browns (little cubes) work the best for this recipe.
