Southern Pecan Pie

Makes: 8 servings Total Time: 1 hr

what you need
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • Salt
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 9-inch unbaked pastry shell
make it
Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar, dash salt, white corn syrup, and melted butter. Add pecan halves.

Pour into 9-inch unbaked pastry shell.

Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees F) for 50 minutes or till knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool.
