- 1 box Au Gratin potatoes
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can (about 15 oz.) chili beans
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese
make it
Prepare potatoes according to box. Meanwhile, brown and drain ground beef.
When potatoes are cooked, top with the ground beef, then chili beans (including sauce).
Cook at 350°F for 15 minutes or until hot. Sprinkle salsa and cheese on top and heat for another 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Notes
I brown my ground beef in bulk and package it by the pound for the freezer. For recipes like this I only need to thaw the meat and then add it to the recipe.
Corn or a jalapeno cornbread complement this dish.
