Spicy Italian Mustard Chicken

what you need
  • 4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 bottle Kraft Roasted Red Pepper Italian Dressing
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 small white onion, coarsely chopped
  • Banana pepper rings, chopped (optional)
  • Sun dried tomatoes, chopped (optional)

Pierce each chicken breast several times on each side with a fork. Combine the water, Italian dressing, garlic, mustard and hot sauce in a large mixing bowl. Add the chicken breasts, cover, refrigerate and marinate overnight.

Heat grill to 350 degrees F. Grill the chicken breasts, turn the chicken breasts every 2-3 minutes and baste with the remaining marinade. Chicken should be slightly blackened and reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.

Grill the onions, banana peppers and sun dried tomatoes on the side, garnish the chicken breasts. Serve with steamed rice or noodles.
This was a great last minute throw together recipe. The marinade was so easy to make and chicken came out very moist. Prepping and grilling the veggies was easy. Great, inexpensive meal in under an hour.
