what you need
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • Bread crumbs
  • 1 pkg. sliced mushrooms
  • 2 small onions, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper thinly sliced strips
  • 4 slices Oscar Mayer Bacon, cooked and crumbled into little pieces
make it
Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Combine ground beef, garlic powder, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and bread crumbs (to your liking of texture).

Line cookie sheet with parchment paper and spread the mixture until 1/8" thick then place another piece of parchment paper on top and smooth out. Refrigerate for 2 hours until firm.

Meanwhile saute mushrooms, onions and peppers and set aside. Take out mixture and peel off the top paper and spread the onion, mushroom and pepper mixture. Sprinkle the bacon on top and roll meatloaf with bottom paper.

Place on cookie sheet and seal off ends and sides. Place 2 pieces of bacon on top of meatloaf (optional) and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with brown gravy.
