Super Cheesy Taco Dip

what you need
  • 3/4 cup rinsed black beans
  • 1 slice Velveeta Cheese, about 3/4 inch thick
  • 6 oz. Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (about 1-2 oz.)
make it
Rinse the beans thoroughly, cover with water. Microwave for about 3 minutes at medium heat.

Cut a slice off of a block of Velveeta (I always buy the large 32 oz. block), cut into cubes. Throw the pile of cubes into a glass bowl. Cover the blocks of Velveeta with the cheddar. Pour in the milk; everything should be swimming just a little bit. Dump in the seasoning mix and the black beans. Mix thoroughly.

Microwave for about 5 minutes at medium heat, stirring every minute or minute and a half.
When everything is all melted, serve with chips.
You may replace the beans with browned chorizo, or use both.
