Makes: 5 servings Total Time: 50 min
Category: Dinner Entrees Sub Category: Chicken & Turkey Entrees

what you need
  • 1/2 fresh pineapple or 1 can (20 oz.) pineapple chunks
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar if using fresh pineapple or 2 Tbsp. sugar if using can pineapple
  • 5 boneless chicken breasts
  • Italian seasonings (optional)
  • 1 bottle (10 oz.) Kraft Sweet and Sour Sauce
make it
If using fresh pineapple - cut pineapple into chunks, add the 4 Tbsp. of sugar. Put in bowl and place in fridge.
If using canned pineapple - drain most of juice and save for another meal idea. Add more or less of pineapple chunks in bowl. Add 2 Tbsp. of sugar and place in fridge.

Cut boneless chicken breasts into pieces. Add seasoning and mix well. In a medium size pot on low heat add chicken and cook until well done. Add pineapple chunks with juice stir and cook for 10 min.

When most of juice has evaporated, add bottle of Kraft Sweet and Sour Sauce. Stir and cook for another 10-15 min mixing frequently. Sauce will thicken as it cooks.
Notes
The sweet and sour sauce will burn if not mixed frequently.

You can use more or less of anything in this meal. That’s the fun part, you can't go wrong. You can even add 1 package of any frozen cut mixed pepper and onion over cooked rice.
