what you need
- 2 pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 4 oz. sour cream
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 12 oz. jar your favorite salsa
- 2 med. tomatoes, diced
- 1 med. onion, diced
- 1 small green pepper, diced
- 1 small red pepper, diced
- 1 small can chopped black olives (optional)
- 1 pkg. Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese
make it
In med. mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder and a splash of salsa (the sour cream and salsa make it a little smoother for chip dipping).
Smooth cream cheese mixture in bottom of a cookie sheet with a one-inch side. Layer remaining ingredients on top beginning with the salsa and ending with the cheese.
Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
Notes
This has become a family favorite. I am seldom allowed to attend a family function that I am not EXPECTED to bring this appetizer! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
