Tater Tot Casserole

what you need
  • 1 lb. ground beef or turkey
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 bag (32 oz.) tater tots
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
make it
Preheat oven to 350°F. Brown and drain ground beef and onions. Spread ground beef evenly over the bottom of a 2 qt casserole dish. Layer tater tots over the top of the ground beef; arrange evenly.

In a large bowl, mix together the soup and milk until well blended. Pour over the top of the tater tots. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the top of the soup.

Bake for 30-40 minutes or until bubbly.
Add some veggies!! I like to add a can of veg-all to the beef before adding the tater tots on the top! This gives it some nutritional value!
