Makes: 6-8 servings Total Time: 1 hr
Category: Side Dishes Sub Category: Vegetable Side Dishes

what you need
  • 2 cans Del Monte French Style Green Beans
  • 1 can Campbell's Cream of Chicken soup
  • 1 can Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 1 can (6-oz.) French's cheddar French fried onions, divided in half
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Kraft Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese, divided in half
  • 1 cup Kraft Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided in half
make it
Pour drained green beans into casserole dish. Add both cans of soup, half of the onions, salt and pepper, and half of the cheeses. Stir until all ingredients are mixed well. If the mix clumps together, add a small amount of milk and mix until smooth.

Sprinkle the remaining cheeses and onions on top.

Bake at 350 degrees F for about 30 minutes, or until the onions on top are well browned and the casserole is heated throughout. Serve warm.
Notes
Cream of chicken and cream of mushroom soup can be exchanged with any other cream-style soup for a slightly different taste.

For example, cream of broccoli gives the casserole a stronger veggie-type taste. Cream of potato is more bland, and lets the taste of the beans and onions stand out. The types of cheese used can also be changed if your family has a particular favorite.
