Tobbie's Famous Taco Pizza

what you need
  • 1 can Texas style biscuits
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 packages taco seasoning
  • 1 can (8 oz.) refried beans
  • Lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Picante sauce (optional)
make it
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Roll biscuits out on pizza pan & cook as directed on can. Cook ground beef in a skillet until good & brown, and then add the taco seasoning.

When the crust is done, open the can of refried beans & spread on top of the crust, then add the ground beef mixture.

Turn temperature down to 200 degrees F & put pizza back in oven for 10 minutes. Take out & add the lettuce, tomatoes & cheese. Serve with sauce.
Notes
You can change some of the ingredients to make it low fat. You can change the ground beef to ground turkey. You can get the cheese in low fat also.
