Walnut and Yogurt Basil Pesto

what you need
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 cups basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup toasted walnuts
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
make it
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until smooth.

Toss pesto with 1 pound cooked pasta and serve with parmesan cheese.

Alternative -- use to marinate meats or as a dip for vegetables.
Notes
This recipe is from the lid of a carton of Dannon nonfat yogurt.
