Wendy's Cornmeal Porridge

what you need
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup fine cornmeal
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
make it
Pour water and salt in pot, bring to a boil. Meanwhile combine cornmeal and flour in a bowl then gradually stir in milk to form a paste.

Once water is boiling, stir in the cornmeal paste, lower heat and simmer for 15 min.

Add vanilla, cinnamon and sugar, cover pot and simmer for another 15 minutes or until porridge is cooked.
