White Wine Cake

what you need
  • Cake
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 pkg. (3 oz.) vanilla flavor instant pudding
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • Glaze
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup white wine
make it
Cake
Mix all ingredients together well. Pour batter in a greased & floured bundt pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Glaze
Bring to a boil 1 stick butter, 1 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water. Remove from stove and add 1/4 cup white wine. Heat for 1 minute longer.

Spoon half of glaze over hot cake in pan. Let stand for 10 minutes. Place cake on plate and spoon remainder of glaze over cake.
Notes
This cake freezes well.
